Sara McKee

I’m excited to join the Six Pillar team as a Prior Authorization Specialist and Patient Advocate. After graduating from nursing school in 2020, I worked in critical care for several years before transitioning into the world of prior authorization.

Over the past three years, I’ve developed a strong understanding of the payer process and the challenges faced when trying to access medications and treatment. I’m passionate about helping to navigate these barriers and advocating for patients throughout a complicated (and often frustrating!) process.

I’m looking forward to using my experience to help make the medication access process as smooth and seamless as possible for Six Pillar’s members.

Outside of work, I live in the beautiful Finger Lakes region with my husband, our two daughters, and our dog. We try to spend as much time as possible outdoors—hiking, biking, enjoying the lake, the local wineries and mostly just trying to keep up with our toddler! I’m  delighted to be joining the Six Pillars community and look forward to working with you!
